About
Through my company, FLONG, I provide copywriting, consultancy and editorial services for agencies, businesses, universities and the public sector.
I'm now in the third decade of a varied media career, which began as a journalist in London. I served as a subeditor at three national newspapers, was deputy editor of Sunday Times Travel Magazine and helped run the commercial desk of the Daily Telegraph. I've written for outlets from GQ, The Guardian, the Evening Standard and the New York Post to niche technology and business titles.
With my commercial hat on, I've worked for many multinational brands, national tourist boards and public-sector agencies. Here in Wales, I've been involved in multiple high-profile projects for the Welsh Government.
I offer specialist services for universities, helping to publicise important research and engage better with students, staff and alumni. I've lent my skills to three of the top-ten universities in the QS world rankings.
I like cats.
'FLONG provides us with copywriting and editing services on a "white label" basis. We treat them as members of our own team, totally integrated into our operation, and that demands a high level of trust. They don't let us down.'
