Elizabeth Akerele

I'm a painter, illustrator and print maker.
My current work is focused on the streets and buildings that make up Cardiff and our surrounding areas. I depict places that are often over looked in my own unique way using all types of media including acrylic paint, and screen printing.
I've illustrated two published childrens books "There's Just no Room" and "Paper Plane".
I'm looking for collaborative work, murals, installations, exhibitions, workshops, anything that highlights the beauty and cultural diversity in Wales.
I'm a queer poc, being in such a minority I feel its important to also be an example to others who are in the same position and maybe shed light on our unique issues through visula art.
