I’m a freelance musician with 15 years’ experience playing keyboards and/or piano for bands, theatre shows, accompanying, recording, studio and session work. I’m versatile and a very quick learner! I’m classically trained and can read music (ABRSM Grade 8) but my playing style and creative output spans a really wide spectrum of genres (classical, jazz, rock, pop, funk, soul, electronic, alternative, Latin, Afrobeat… the list goes on!) I love to improvise, live or otherwise, and have worked on a wide range of different sessions where I’ve helped artists realise what they’re envisaging for their project in terms of keyboard, piano and/or synth parts and sounds, whether that’s for film scores, songwriting, composing or otherwise. I’m always up for collaborating and for trying something new!
