About

I'm an artist creating paintings & drawings using imagery based on human anatomy and classical vanitias paintings to explore psychological states. I also design and print screen-printed items which I sell at www.TejaJamilla.com. I'd like to participate in shows, I'm open to undertaking design commissions eg. for clothing prints, band merchandise etc.

Painting in classical style of pink roses on a black background. There are blood drops emerging from the centre of the roses. Painting in a dark-surrealistic style with a human eyeball at the centre, a flower grows out of this with flesh coloured petals and the flower has a smaller eyeball at it's centre. This is surrounded by a wreath of small human bones, the background is black. Screen printed tights with a design of tarot cards printed in gold, the design runs down the centre of each leg on black tights. There is a turquoise velvet background with red roses and tarot cards scattered around the legs. Screen printed tights with a design of skulls, winged hour-glasses, snakes and the phrase "Memento Mori" printed in gold on black tights. The background is of dimly lit stairs in a castle. A wooden brooch printed with monochrome water-colour artwork of an eye with tears at the right corner on a white background.
