I am a composer, songwriter, poet and multi instrumentalist (piano, harp percussion, accordion, guitar and cello) I am also a singer.
I work in all styles of music and although am classically trained I also play by ear.
I was born in Birmingham, and am a fluent Welsh speaker..I fell in love with Wales when I came to study here and learned the language for a theatre commission and tour. Speaking welsh has changed my life and opened up deep and rich new paths of creativity.
I have w9rkedconsisyently since graduating and have had wonderful music making experiences..collaborating with actors, poets, artists, schools, colleges, festivals, choirs, orchestras, dancers, storytellers and other musicians. I am very happy working solo as a composer and workshop leader. I am also very happy collaborating..learning from new people is a constant joy.
I am looking for any creative projects..my brief is very wide. My 25 years of experience mean that I feel at the top of my game right now. I have many projects with arts organisations, theatre companies, festivals, musicians and schools in my CV and would be happy to share that with you. As I work bilingual that is always an exciting path for me. I am english and now speak fluent welsh. I also have a good knowledge of french.
