About the role

The post fulfils the role of Artistic Director for the Richard Burton Company, planning in collaboration with the acting, musical theatre and wider drama teams a challenging, diverse and bespoke repertoire for drama performance across Acting and Musical Theatre of the highest possible quality and reflecting RWCMD’s context in Wales.  The role will be working as a key member of the College Artistic Planning Group to ensure an innovative public programme in Drama overall aligned with RWCMD’s strategic objectives.

Sherman Theatre is looking for a dynamic, customer-focused individual to fill a permanent, part-time position within the Box Office team. The Box Office Supervisor will support the Box Office and Audience Insight Manager by deputising in their absence whilst carrying out core Box Office duties including providing the highest standards of customer service, maximising sales opportunities, assisting with marketing activities, and optimising the function of Sherman Theatre’s Reception.

PQA, a leading provider of weekend performing arts training, is currently recruiting a Musical Theatre teacher for their academy in Newport on a Saturday 9.45am-1pm, to cover various dates throughout the year.

We are looking for two actors to participate in an R&D project called The End of the Line written by Helen Cattle and directed by Angharad Lee. The one week of development will take place in Cardiff City Centre, and will involve working with some initial script ideas from Helen to help build the world the production will take place in.
