The Ida network's meet-up in Cardiff is the first event of the Ida Hwb, Wales. We are building a community of women, non-binary and trans people who are working in, or who want to work in immersive tech. If you identify as a woman, non-binary or trans person, please come along and meet others in the community.
We aim to make this space as welcoming and inclusive as possible. Our meet-ups are informal and friendly, whether you're new to the industry or not so new. We hope this is a space where you can come and connect with the growing community, build your contacts and your confidence.
This event will include informal networking and presentations from the industry. Ida will present their findings from their recent industry report and there will be further presentations on accessible funding routes and juggling childcare responsibilities.
This event is hosted by Wales Millennium Centre. Drinks and lunch (veggie and vegan options) will be provided. If you are a parent and child care responsibilities are a barrier to attending, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Please note, there is no parking on site, however there are plenty of parking options in Cardiff Bay, the closest being Q Park.
