S4C publishes content across digital platforms on a daily basis, reaching hundreds of thousands of people, in Wales and beyond. S4C's presence on these platforms is a key part of digital transformation. With a focus on developing original digital content as well as content that accompanies S4C's programmes and series, it is a busy, challenging and exciting field.
As a Digital Content Creator you will be responsible for developing, producing and curating content for YouTube and social media. This role requires a combination of creativity, technical skills, and strategic thinking to create high-quality videos, graphics, and posts that engage with our target audiences and strengthen our brand. You will also delve into S4C's archive and repurpose content for various digital platforms and audiences.
You and the team will be S4C's voice on YouTube and social media – owning the accounts by being playful, jumping on wider "trends" and creating a buzz. Your contribution will be vital as S4C transforms into a multi-platform content publisher.
The ability to communicate fluently in Welsh and in English, orally and in writing to a good standard is essential for the role.

Location: S4C has offices in Carmarthen, Cardiff and Caernarfon and operate a hybrid working policy. You are expected to travel to wherever S4C reasonably orders from time to time.
Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 per annum
Working Hours: Your normal working hours will be a total of 35¾ hours per week. Due to the nature of the work, you may need to work an active shift pattern. So you will work weekly five days out of seven, in accordance with the requirements of the service. If you need to work a shift pattern you will be informed of the shift pattern in advanced.
Contract: Permanent
Probation Period: 6 months
Holidays: In addition to the statutory bank holidays, you will be entitled to 26 days of paid holiday per year. (Please note that the annual leave will be pro rata if working part time).
Pension: Paid staff are entitled to join a Group Personal Pension Scheme subject to the terms of any existing scheme which is amended from time to time. If you are a member of the Group Personal Pension Scheme, S4C will contribute 10% of your basic salary to the Scheme. You will be expected to contribute 5%.
