National Youth Arts Wales wishes to recruit a full-time Digital Communications Officer to join the team.
The post-holder will be responsible for managing our digital presence across a number of platforms – including social media, website and email. A key part of the role will be to proactively work with NYAW’s producers, members and stakeholders to identify stories and to tell those stories in an engaging way.
This role, funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, will be a key part of our work to increase equity and diversity within our organisation, by engaging with partners and young people on the platforms that they use daily.
The success of the role will not just be measured by impressions or reach, but by how the digital communications strategy impacts on our organisational diversity targets, on the number of participants we’re able to recruit for our projects, and our fundraising and earned income targets.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just have experience in digital communications, but how these tools can be used for social change, and for long-term engagement with young people.
