About Wales Millennium Centre/Our Department:
The Marketing team is responsible for building and maintaining sustainable audiences and casual visitors for a wide range of activities and a broad range of customers and the development of our reputation in the public domain. To do this, we produce marketing collateral to communicate our income-generating propositions as well as charitable and artistic vision. We also have a commitment to ensuring an imaginative approach is taken to valuing and developing Welsh culture and identity in all aspects of our activities.
About the Role and Responsibilities
The Designer will sit within the marketing team, working with multiple stakeholders across Wales Millennium Centre. They will report to our Senior Bilingual Copywriter and work closely with our Resident Designer. The Designer is responsible for leading on the creation and supply of original artwork and assets to support Wales Millennium Centre across all departments, including our front of house areas and shop. They will ensure all assets and campaigns reflect our brand vision and guidelines, are consistent across platforms and delivered on time in pursuit of financial, footfall and reputational objectives.
Your role may be subject to a DBS check.
Key Requirements:
As a digital first organisation, we are looking for a designer with high attention to detail, great taste in contemporary visual design and several years’ experience creating assets including animation and video for social media and screen-based platforms. You’ll also have expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign and be comfortable ordering print and production from a range of suppliers as well as uploading and scheduling content to our digital screen signage system.
