Join us for Silenced Sunrise: Taiwan’s Music vs. The China Factor, a short documentary about how musicians in Taiwan navigate censorship and creativity across borders. While rooted in East Asia, the film sparks questions that feel close to home — about freedom, identity, and what it means to make art in a small nation with big stories to tell.
After the screening, we’ll host a relaxed, hands-on workshop on artistic freedom in Wales — diving into how funding, language, and platforms shape our creative lives here. Come share your thoughts, your work, and maybe a few dreams for how things could be different.
