About us

Hello, we are a media planning and buying agency based in Cardiff.

We specialise in delivering results for our clients by getting them the right kind of attention.

Our focus is on results. They can take many forms, from sheer numbers of advert views to changes in audience perception, a return on investment or more visitors to an event, more subscriptions to fewer accidents, the list goes on. The key thing is this; results mean different things to different people, but they mean the world to everyone.

So we listen to what that means to our clients, we figure out how to get them, we research, we plan, we create and we get results. It’s what we do and we do it with a smile.

From our home in Tramshed Tech (and also our actual homes since COVID-19 decided to wreak havoc on the world!), we work with some amazing brands, (or as we like to call them, Attention Seekers), such as Brecon Carreg, Wales Co-operative Centre, Cardiff City Football Club, and Visit Cardiff.

Why are we recruiting?

We don’t recruit often so when we do, we always think carefully about why we are recruiting and the people we look to join our team.

Despite the pandemic, 2020 and 2021 have seen us grow. We have won record amounts of new business and we’re about to make a significant investment into our brand and this is where you might come in!

What are we looking for?

We want to keep growing and make sure that our clients have the best possible service so we think now is the right time to appoint a Digital Media Planner and Buyer.

What is the work like?

We’re looking for someone that has:

  • A track record of working in digital media
  • Previous agency experience
  • A sound working knowledge of biddable media such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and TikTok
  • Experience in planning and executing successful digital media campaigns especially across paid search and paid social channels
  • A good understanding of tracking pixels, UTMs, and conversion metrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong reporting skills that show off enviable attention to detail
  • A sharp eye for analysing numerical data
  • The ability to create and present post-campaign analysis
  • The ability to manage multiple campaigns in a deadline-driven environment
  • An understanding of how digital advertising can play a part within a wider media plan that might include TV, radio, out of home and print
  • A proven ability to stay abreast of the latest developments within the digital media space and communicate these both internally and to clients whether directly or through our marketing colleagues

What is the work like?

Day to day, your tasks might include:

  • Delivering media campaigns across a multitude of platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Creating fully costed and rationalised digital media plans and presenting these to clients
  • Using your digital planning knowledge to contribute to new business pitches
  • Working with existing clients to review their digital media campaigns
  • Undertaking competitor and market analysis for clients
  • Analysing data to help inform future campaigns

Hours and environment

We generally work Monday to Friday, 9-5. Overtime is not a regular occurrence here, but at busy times we do expect a degree of flexibility when we have deadlines to meet and clients to please.

We’re relaxed as to where the successful candidate is based. We’re looking for someone with the right experience, aptitude, and attitude rather than their location. Remote working is an option (but we’d like to meet up every now and then).

What’s in it for you?

In return for your dedication and hard work, you can expect the following:

  • 40 days annual leave (pro-rata if part-time) plus bank holidays
  • The ability to work from home subject to a risk assessment
  • A day off for your birthday
  • Subsidised eye care
  • Pension contributions (subject to eligibility)
  • Study time to allow you to achieve the industry recognised Award in Marketing with the Institute of Data and Marketing (IDM) and/or the Award in B2B Marketing with the IDM.
  • On the job training will be a regular occurrence with a structured learning plan and if training needs are identified, we’ll work with you to find the right training provider and make sure you’re skilled up
  • And of course, as well as competitive pay, you’ll be working in a fast-paced, fun, and sociable industry

Just so you know, we’re a Disability Confident Committed Employer (certificate number: DCS023227) which means we have committed to:

  • Ensuring our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible
  • Communicating and promoting vacancies
  • Offering an interview to disabled people who meet the minimum criteria for the job
  • Anticipating and providing reasonable adjustments as required
  • Supporting any existing employee who acquires a disability or long term health condition, enabling them to stay in work
  • At least one activity that will make a difference for disabled people
  • Making our office accessible
