Join us for a chance to meet, connect and learn from other creatives, whether you're just starting out or have been working in the industry for decades, at our monthly Creative Cuppa.
Creative Cardiff hosts a gathering for artists, businesses and creative freelancers called Creative Cuppa. These informal events will bring the creative community together for the all-important three Cs - connection, creativity and caffeine.
Each Creative Cuppa event starts with a TED-style talk on a theme that is relevant across all creative sectors, followed by an informal hour to build relationships, share knowledge, and uncover new opportunities.
April's theme: Becoming a freelancer
Join us for April's Creative Cuppa at Tramshed Tech, where we’ll explore the theme of ‘Becoming a freelancer’ with Krystal Lowe. Krystal will share insights from her journey as a freelance multidisciplinary artist, offering valuable perspectives on navigating creative independence, building a sustainable career, and integrating personal identity into professional work.
As a Bermudian, Wales-based artist, Krystal's work spans dance theatre, public performance, and film. Passionate about intersectional identity, mental health, and empowerment, her creative practice encourages introspection and social change. She is committed to integrating accessibility into her work, particularly through British Sign Language, Welsh, and English.
