I have been involved in graphic communication for 30 years and for the past 22 years have established and run WOOD&WOOD Design Consultants.

Having finished a Foundation year at Newport Art College, I started my career in June 1985 working at Brian Hughes Design (ITMB) in Usk at the offices of Sector Design Group. After three creatively influential years, I resumed my formal design education at Newport, graduating with a BA (Hon's) in June 1991. Whilst studying for my degree, I was an exchange student at the Hochschule, Luzern, Switzerland where I studied under Hans-Rudolf Lutz.

After graduating, I worked for Barrie West Associates in Ross-on-Wye where I learn’t about client liaison and then Peter Gill Associates in Cardiff which taught me about the business of design.

WOOD&WOOD is small and agile in order to retain a strong and broad client base. Most of my clients have been with me for many years and all my work comes from from word of mouth recommendation and referral. WOOD&WOOD has built a reputation for creative thinking, attention to detail and quality project management.

Historically designing products for print, this is changing, with an increasing emphasis on producing design for a digital outcome too.

From identities for small businesses, to literature implementation for both private and public organisations, WOOD&WOOD create bespoke design solutions that effectively communicate the desired message and more.
