Dirty Protest is a Welsh new writing theatre company, founded in 2007. Since then we have produced over 300 new plays by over 200 established and emerging writers, including Gary Owen and Lucy Kirkwood. We've worked with over 150 professional and newly-trained actors and directors in venues including Theatr Clwyd, Paines Plough's pop-up "Roundabout" alongside pubs, kebab shops, hairdressers and other non-traditional spaces.

Dirty Protest is currently at an exciting point in the company's development. We are building our touring capacity and UK, and international profile and will be heading to Edinburgh Fringe in August. We look forward to seeing what this exciting theatre company will do next.
