Amy Morris is an animation producer based in Newport, in South Wales, UK.

She specialises in animation and moving image for educational purposes and is driven by creating access to the sector. She began her career in film as a production assistant at animation company Cinetig, where she worked with celebrated BAFTA award winning animators Jane Hubbard and Gerald Conn. Alongside her role at Cinetig, she began producing micro budget independent films as part of the offline society, Dedicated Follower Film Collective.

In 2011 Amy set up her own multi award winning production company and studio called Winding Snake Productions, and since has produced over 20 animated shorts funded by Arts council of Wales, Heritage Lottery Fund, Film Nation:Shorts, 2012 Cultural Olympiad, First Light, Ffilm Cymru Wales, Into Film, the University of South Wales, Save the Children, Admiral and the National Museum and Galleries of Wales.

In 2012 Amy established the successful Beginners Animation for Adults course based at Chapter in Cardiff, she also regularly teaches filmmaking workshops throughout South Wales, as well as running Winding Snake Productions. Amy is also an active board member of the Cardiff Animation Nights event and the recently established Cardiff Animation Festival due to launch in 2017.
