We are looking for a Programme and Digital Editor with the skills, drive and determination to build on our reputation as an independent national news service for Wales.
The successful candidate will be operational for the majority of the time but, as a key member of the ITV Cymru Wales Executive Team, you will also help shape and drive strategy working closely with the Head of News and Programmes, as well as providing excellent line management to a team of senior colleagues.
You will be an experienced journalist with excellent editorial judgement. You will have a creative approach to programme making and be able to inspire the news team to follow your lead. You will have a proven track record of producing high quality news or current affairs programmes and you will be used to working calmly under pressure and against tight deadlines.
With a passion for news, you will have excellent knowledge of Welsh and UK current affairs and a thorough working knowledge of media law, the Ofcom Broadcasting Code and health and safety requirements.
