About
Hi! My name is Natalia Hamlin and I am a recent graduate of The Royal welsh College Of Music And Drama, studying design for performance. I am a fluent welsh speaker and a passionate and hardworking costume professional who thrives in high-pressure environments. Whether I’m designing or assisting, I always give my full attention to every project, ensuring that each piece is thoughtfully crafted. I feel deeply about how costume can be such a powerful storytelling tool—how the right design can reveal so much about a character’s personality, background, and journey. The process of researching, sourcing materials, and carefully considering textures and details is something I absolutely love. I’m always eager to explore new ideas and push creative boundaries. For me, costuming is more than just a job; it’s a way to connect with stories on a deeper level, and I’m fully committed to delivering work that helps bring those stories to life.
Natalia was self-motivated and efficient, able to see production through from initial design to final product by solving problems, communicating efficiently and seeking out and responding to feedback. She demonstrated very good communication through her design realisation ability working as an individual creative and as a member of a team
Natalia was encouraging of her designer, pushing for decisions at points where it was necessary to get the work complete. This was managed well and is a very useful skill as a supervisor
