Toon Boom: Rigging for Production with Sean Francis
Toon Boom Harmony is a long established, feature rich 2D animation tool utilised in many international productions. The software allows animators to create paperless and cut-out animation in a range of styles.
For series or film production a critical stage in the smooth execution of modern digital animation is robust pre-production. Rigging is where the bulk of the work takes place that leads to great animation, setting up assets and making decisions that impact the rest of the project.
In this course you will be walked through how it’s done in Toon Boom Harmony at a professional level. From considering turnarounds, importing art, using nodes and establishing a base rig to adding shapes, creating controllers and applying deformers. This carefully constructed course will help you master this side of Toon Boom’s software ready for your next big project or new role.
