About Wales Millennium Centre/Our Department:

Wales Millennium Centre creates work with artists across physical, digital and virtual stages. We support, develop and produce work across scale and form, from mid-scale theatre to AR installations, large scale musicals and immersive productions. We want to tell extraordinary stories in extraordinary ways.

Our producing framework is rooted in supporting artists with physical and human resources, investing time and money in authentic interactions that create the space and conditions within which artists can grow and flourish

About the Role and Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Welsh speaking Assistant Producer to join our producing team and support the development and delivery of a bold, inclusive, and diverse programme of work. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a large arts organisation, supporting projects that span live performance, immersive experiences, community engagement, and more.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about the arts, with strong organisational skills and a collaborative mindset.

We recognise that many people experience barriers to working in the arts and it is important that the work we create reflects the vibrancy and diversity of the world we live in.We want to encourage people from a variety of backgrounds, with different experiences and skills to join us and continue to develop our working practice.

Your role may be subject to a DBS check.

Key Requirements:

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Organised and proactive, with strong administrative skills.
  • A great communicator, able to build relationships with artists, teams, and partners.
  • Passionate about the arts, with a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Curious and creative, keen to contribute ideas and learn through doing.

You will also need to be willing to work unsociable hours, evenings and weekends where needed for the role.
