Meet up with colleagues from across the visual arts sector to connect and share over a cuppa.
The day includes presentations from:
- Sean Kenny, Amgueddfa Cymru – sharing insights on Celf: National Contemporary Art Gallery Wales
- Ben Evans, Arts & Business Cymru – Ben will provide information about Arts & Business Cymru, how they can support freelancers and organisations as well as practical funding tips.
- Klara Sroka, Cyfarthfa Castle Museum and Art Gallery – discussing how she engages different communities, groups and audiences in her work.
- Creative Lives – a charity that champions community and volunteer-led creative activity, and works to improve opportunities for everyone to be creative. Profile Director Gareth Coles will discuss Creative Lives’ work, their approach to engaging people in creative activities, and their ongoing partnership with St Fagans. The session will be interspersed with practical creative activities.
Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring your own lunch or use the cafés on site.
This meet-up is open to anyone interested in participation in the visual arts, a warm welcome to all!
We’ll be meeting in one of the learning studios in the main building (accessible by stairs or lift).
