PQA Cardiff is a dedicated performing arts school, with classes for kids and young adults in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre (singing, dancing and acting through song), and Film & Television.
Our Cardiff Academy operates from Ysgol Treganna every Saturday from 9.45am – 1 pm & 1.45-5pm where we welcome students aged 6-18 years from Cardiff, Newport, Penarth, Cowbridge, Bridgend, Brecon, Monmouth, Pembroke, Blackwood postcode and right across South Wales.
At PQA Cardiff our students can showcase their talents performing in a variety of roles, in musicals, plays, and films. We focus on maximising their potential. Our lessons, delivered by industry professionals, allow young performers to explore entirely new creative worlds as well as having a great time in a safe environment.
Job description
We are looking for a musical theatre teacher, a triple threat. You will need to be brilliant, inspirational, proactive and energetic, you will instil your passion for the performing arts into the hearts and minds of the young people who attend our academies. As the musical theatre teacher you will be part of our amazing team developing the skills of our young people and developing projects with us to maximise our students potential.
From regular workshops developing musical theatre skills and knowledge, to choreographing West End shows, we are looking for someone who can deliver our projects with passion and dedication.
Applicants should have experience both in professional performing arts, and working with children and young people aged 6-18. The job offers a rewarding role, engaging and shaping young performers helping them gain experience and expertise.
