About Creative Learning 

The Welsh Government and Arts Council of Wales are collaborating on a major project to enhance the quality of creative learning in Wales’s schools.  An ambitious programme of activity has been set out in Creative Learning through the arts – an action plan for Wales. 

We are looking for a talented ILLUSTRATOR who can work with us on a children's book aimed at 5-8 years olds. Ideally you have a graphical style which can create a more traditional hand drawn, watercolour, pencil feel to illustrations. Experience in children's books is favourable but not essential. The Art of Brains

You are invited to submit a bid for a new commission being offered by Brains Brewery.

Introduction

Brains Brewery, one of Wales’ most famous brands, is relaunching its range of Limited Edition Beers as part of a wider rebrand. Limited Edition Beers are sold through pubs for specific time periods (e.g Christmas, Six Nations etc). Each beer is typically available for 4-6 weeks and there are 4-6 Limited Editions available throughout the year.

Contract: Fixed-term three-year contract, with the possibility of extension (subject to a three-month probationary period)

Salary: £27,248 (pro rata) – £16,348.80 actual salary
Hours: 24 hours per week (TOIL). Some weekend and evening work will be necessary.
