Sam Nicoresti

A glistening new stand-up hour from LSQ Theatre New Comedian Winner Sam Nicoresti about losing your mind, finding it again, and the hunt for the perfect skirt suit. Best Show Nominee Leicester Comedy Festival 2025.

During a stressful house move, burgeoning trans icon Sam Nicoresti lost their mind. From a care home comedy night to the standing stones of Cornwall, via a cult, a fertility clinic, and a question of love, this is the story of the journey home.

Baby Doomer is the follow-up to the acclaimed Wokeflake.

“One of the definitive documents of the trans experience in stand-up.” - Chortle

What is a WIP?

A WIP is work-in-progress, a show that comedians commonly do to try and figure out the structure and material of their show before they debut the final product (basically, a draft of their eventual show).

What is a WIP Season?

Every Thursday in June, two queer comedians will bring a WIP of their shows to The Queer Emporium! That's eight queer comedians throughout the month, hence the season! You can buy tickets for the individual events or if you buy tickets for all of the WIP shows, you'll receive a discount (also known as our Season Pass). To receive the discount, just add all four WIP Season events to your basket and it will be applied at the check out.
