The Front of House Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all Front of House operations, placing visitors at the heart of the venue experience. This includes overseeing audience management, health and safety, housekeeping, security, and the comfort of all public areas.
Duty Managers provide cover for contracted staff during holidays or sickness. We require flexible staff who can respond – sometimes at short notice – to ensure the building is covered during all opening hours.
Duty Managers must work a minimum of two shifts per month, or as required by the Head of Visitor Services. A standard Front of House shift is eight hours. A rota is in place to ensure consistent cover. The ability to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends is essential.
Fire Marshal training is mandatory for this role and will be provided by Chapter. Holding a First Aid at Work certificate is highly desirable. This is also a key-holder position.
