We are looking for an inquisitive individual who has the energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to transform the way that S4C and the sector represents and reflects Wales. You will have experience of involvement with communities that are under-represented within the sector - particularly the BAME communities, the disabled communities and LGBTQ+ communities. The ability to communicate in Welsh and English is essential for this role, and support will the offered to improve current language skills in Welsh.
The Diversity and Inclusion Officer will work closely with the content, communication, partnerships, and human resources departments and will report to the Director of Partnerships.
This role is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be based in Carmarthen and you will be expected to spend time there and from time to time at S4C's offices in Caernarfon and Cardiff.
Location: S4C's headquarters are at Canolfan S4C Yr Egin, Carmarthen. You will be expected to spend time there and from time to time at S4C's offices in Caernarfon and Cardiff and wherever else S4C considers reasonable to your position.
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
Contract: initially 12 month
Hours: 35.75 hours per week. Applications to work flexibly in line with our flexible work policy are welcomed.
Probation Period: 6 mis
Holidays: In addition to the statutory bank holidays, you will be entitled to 26 days paid leave a year.
Pension: Group Personal Pension Plan. The employer will contribute 10% of your basic pay to the Plan. You will be expected to contribute 5%.
