About Creative Cuppa

Creative Cardiff hosts a monthly gathering for artists, businesses and creative freelancers called 'Creative Cuppa'. These informal events will bring the creative community together for the all-important three Cs - connection, creativity and caffeine.

Join us for a chance to meet, connect and learn from other creatives, whether you're just starting out or have been working in the industry for decades. Each Creative Cuppa starts with a TED-style talk on a theme that is relevant across all creative sectors, followed by an informal hour to sit down, chat and eat cake! These are relaxed gatherings to meet other creatives and share opportunities.

Bilingual social media

We'll be joined by the Welsh Government's Senior Digital Content Manager, Laura Truelove, who will be delivering a short presentation on using the Welsh language to create engaging bilingual digital content for social media.

Laura Truelove is a Senior Digital Officer for the Welsh Government. She is responsible for the management of the government’s high-profile, bilingual social media accounts, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and the official Welsh Government blog. Laura is passionate about bilingual communications and promoting the Welsh language, and delivers advice and talks to organisations across Wales and further afield, including at Social Media Dublin, Belfast and Wales conferences.

You do not need to be a Welsh speaker to attend this event, but you should have an interest in how you can use Welsh and English to create meaningful content and digital campaigns.
