Sherman Theatre, Cardiff, seeks a new Workshop Manager to lead the construction and finishing of sets for all its productions. The role encompasses a wide range of duties and the person appointed will need to be motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.

Poetry Wales are looking for a Reviews Editor to commission and edit reviews of poetry collections from around the world.

The aim of this session is equip creatives to better understand this very important issue and identify ways of overcoming these problems through training in a safe environment with an expert tutor.

The role of Production Technician will include providing production technical assistance at both our office base in Bridgend during the planning process and out on site during events, planning, designing and scheduling of events, co-ordinating staffing, contracting and scheduling subcontractors, troubleshooting, venue booking, client liaison and budget monitoring, to ensure all events run smoothly.

Core Duties

The role of Warehouse & Production Technician will include providing warehouse and production technical assistance at both our office base in Bridgend during the planning process and out on site during events; assisting with the planning, maintenance, testing, preparation and delivery of all equipment owned by the company. Assisting in contracting and scheduling subcontractors, suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting to ensure all events run smoothly.

Sherman Theatre wishes to appoint a Marketing Officer to join its dynamic and high performing Audiences and Communications team. The Marketing Officer will support Sherman Theatre’s work to connect with audiences across south Wales and beyond and generate income.

We are seeking to appoint two Assistant Curators.

The Assistant Curators will work with the Artes Mundi team to plan and deliver the forthcoming biennial exhibition, AM11. Specifically, they will assist the Director in all aspects of the programme delivery, in particular exhibition coordination and preparation, installation planning, monitoring budgets and contribute to events and public programming initiatives.
