About WMC/Our Department:

  • The fundraising department is responsible for all areas of philanthropic giving, securing funds for WMCs work with creatives, young people and communities. Having just celebrated 20 years of WMC we are looking to the next 20 years and are looking for somebody full of creative funding ideas to join our team.

About the Role and Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Senior Fundraiser to play a pivotal role in the growth of the Fundraising Department. You will bring a strong track record of successful Trusts & Foundations fundraising and share WMCs passion to showcase the transformative power of the Arts.

We are looking for a driven individual who can work flexibly, bringing with them a range of high level transferable skills in key areas of prospect research, compelling writing and demonstrable experience of securing multi-year five and six figure financial support. You will work with the Head of Fundraising to develop more creative ways of delivering our case for support and impact storytelling to ensure WMC stands out from the crowd.

The Senior Fundraising Manager reports into the Head of Fundraising and will support the wider team across all areas of philanthropy, including Individual Giving, Memberships, Legacy and major donors.

This role will be offered on a Hybrid basis.

Your role may be subject to a DBS check

Key Requirements:

Experience in writing, submitting and securing multi-year investment from Trusts & Foundations c£100k+

Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

A strong team player who is able to work flexibly across multiple projects and with multiple departments.

Extensive all round fundraising experience, including governance and GDPR.
