Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a team player; someone who has a positive attitude, with great writing skills who is media hungry! You ideally will have at least one years’ experience in PR and/or marketing.
Key responsibilities
Content and writing skills
- Develop well written press releases, case studies, features, newsletters and opinion editorial
- Social media content
- Demonstrate good proofreading skills
- Basic graphic design skills beneficial
Media relations
- Media liaison; pitch stories to print, online and broadcast and meeting journalists to build relationships
- Media and political monitoring – to ensure clients are well informed and potential issues are raised as early as possible
- General admin; collate coverage reports, update media lists, scan media for feature and commentary opportunities
Client relationships
- Attend client meetings, write agendas and take minutes
- Produce client-ready reports and campaign evaluations
Grasshopper Marketing Support
- Draft and program creative content for our Grasshopper social media channels
- Analysis of our channels and benchmarking
- Draft our quarterly Grasshopper e-newsletter and work with in-house designer to produce it
- Write regular blogs to support our SEO
- Manage our website content
- Support agency marketing activities e.g. events, award applications and sponsorship opportunities
Rewards and benefits package
- Salary: From £22K - £30K (depending on experience)
- Annual bonus (subject to company performance)
