Media Academy Cymru is looking for experts from the music industry to join an exciting collaboration between Media Academy Cymru, Wales Millennium Centre and Anthem Music Fund Wales.
We are offering a programme of FREE monthly masterclasses for young people aged 15-25 who would not usually have the opportunity to access such experiences.
The key aims of this venture are:
- To engage young people in music and vocal performance
- To offer young people the chance to work with music industry experts to gain an insight to how the industry works
- To provide equity of opportunity for young people
- To enable the participants to realise their potential.
Each masterclass will:
- Take place at the Wales Millennium Centre
- Each masterclass will run from 10am-3pm, with a team of two facilitators working together
- Accommodate up to 15 students
- Take place on a weekend between now and December 2023
Our music experts are required to:
- Plan the masterclass (group warm up; technique work; tricks of the trade and build confidence)
- Ensure that all participants have an opportunity to perform and use the skills they learn
