WMC is a home for the arts in Wales, and a cauldron of creativity for the nation. We fire imaginations by curating world-class, critically acclaimed touring productions, from musical theatre and comedy to dance, cabaret and an international festival. We kindle emerging talents with fresh, provocative and popular pieces of our own, rooted in Welsh culture. And we ignite a passion for the arts in young people with life-changing learning experiences and chances to shine in the spotlight.

We are Wales Millennium Centre. Fire for the imagination

This is a brand new and exciting opportunity to work within the Technical Team at WMC. You will be working to deliver technical support and planning for WMC’s Front of House venues.

Your role will include a mixture of sound, AV and lighting with a little staging included too. WMC is creating a new Cabaret space to go with the present Front of House venues (Bocs and the Glanfa stage).  The Cabaret space will be your main venue, presenting a mix of music, comedy and drag acts in its first season, normally Thursday to Saturday.

Bocs is a multi-media space largely dedicated to VR experiences, which changes every two weeks at present.

The Glanfa stage is for occasional performances during Festivals, Community events and similar.

For full details on the role and further information on our competitive staff benefits, please visit to our website: Latest vacancies | Wales Millennium Centre (wmc.org.uk)

We welcome application forms in Welsh. If you apply for a role at the Centre in Welsh, your application will not be treated less favourably than an application submitted in English.
