Chapter is seeking a Business Development Manager.
This is an exciting time for Chapter and the successful candidate(s) will have the opportunity to develop their department to best respond to the organisation’s needs, including recruitment of a Business Development Officer. Chapter benefits from an experienced Strategic Management Team, who will work jointly with the Business Development Manager to support overall goals.
Job Purpose
- To direct and develop Chapter’s fundraising programme. The primary focus of the role is to support Chapter in its ambition to be less reliant on public funds to support its programme of activity.
- Work with the CEO and the Strategic Management Team, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for achieving a targeted level of income each year, from trusts, foundations, government institutions and public and private giving.
- Work across all teams within the business to identify funding, support applications, and maintain reporting procedures.
- Create a new membership scheme that supports the arts centre through philanthropy.
Contract: Permanent
Hours of work: Applications are welcome for a full-time role or duties may be split to suit reduced hour contracts. Please note in your application.
Location: Hybrid working. Whilst candidates do not necessarily need to be based in Wales, they will be required to be at Chapter for key dates, and to have a knowledge of the funding landscape in Wales.
