S4C's purpose is to serve the audience with content that entertains, excites and reflects Wales in all its diversity. We’re looking for an experienced Web Developer that can adapt to and learn new technologies. The purpose of this role is to develop S4C’s digital provisions, improving the user experience and introducing new features along with the development of new platforms and services. The Web Developer will be responsible for undertaking development work crystallised as part of S4C’s digital strategy.
You will be responsible for development and maintenance work including, web applications, mobile applications, platforms and websites. This role is part of the Digital and Marketing department and sits within the Development team. You will report to the Senior Developer.

Location: The normal place of work will be Canolfan S4C yr Egin, Carmarthen SA31 3EQ. We offer a hybrid working policy along with a wide range of other flexible working.
Whilst we are currently planning for a return to our offices, you may be required to work remotely when joining whilst these plans are completed.
Salary: £32,000 - £36,500 p.a.
Contract: Permanent
Probation Period: 6 months
Hours: 35.75 hours per week
Holidays: In addition to statutory bank holidays, you will be entitled to 26 days paid annual leave, which runs from 1 January.
Pension: Paid staff are entitled to join a Group Personal Pension Scheme subject to the terms of any existing scheme which is amended from time to time. If you are a member of the Group Personal Pension Scheme, S4C will contribute 10% of your basic salary to the Scheme. You will be expected to contribute 5%.
