We’re looking for a Junior UX Designer who’ll be responsible for translating user insights into delightful platform experiences.
You’ll be responsible for creating both functional and appealing features that address our customer's needs. Using your creativity and eye for design – along with technical knowledge you’ll develop great experiences. Working with S4C’s development team and designers, you’ll deliver wireframes, UI mock-ups, prototypes, MVPs and final products.
This role is part of the Digital and Marketing department and sits within the Development team. You will report to the Senior Developer or their deputy.

Location: The normal place of work will be Canolfan S4C yr Egin, Carmarthen SA31 3EQ.
We offer a hybrid working policy along with a wide range of other flexible working.
Whilst we are currently planning for a return to our offices, you may be required to work remotely when joining whilst these plans are completed.
Salary: In line with experience
Contract: Permanent
Probation Period: 6 months
Hours: 35.75 hours per week
Holidays: In addition to statutory bank holidays, you will be entitled to 26 days paid annual leave, which runs from 1 January.
Pension: Paid staff are entitled to join a Group Personal Pension Scheme subject to the terms of any existing scheme which is amended from time to time. If you are a member of the Group Personal Pension Scheme, S4C will contribute 10% of your basic salary to the Scheme. You will be expected to contribute 5%.
