Hello, I’m Luke Furmage, a Long form documentary maker, featuring off-line editing for Sky Arts broadcast & cinema. I work as an Off-line and On-line editor, editing for web series, factual short-form and Behind-the-Scenes specials. With On-line multi-platform delivery and reformatting, e.g. creating Instagram and Facebook content.
I find true delight in crafting a well-told narrative story from complex ingredients. As a calm and collaborative editor, I am able to work equally well within an integrated team; remotely from director’s notes or using my own initiative.
With 4 year’s experience, I am used to tight deadlines and complex delivery requirements, bringing both creative ideas and technical precision to everything I do. I am able to provide a level of online finishing, grading and broadcast quality sound-mixing. I have also created a number of animated bumpers and effects for web series.
