‘WOMAN’ Open Exhibition August 2018

An open exhibition that celebrates The 21st Century Woman

We warmly invite you to submit work for consideration for the “WOMAN” Exhibition at The Gate Gallery .

For your work to be considered for this open exhibition it must represent or celebrate women within a positive light, whether this is through one or two pieces of art or as part of an artistic project. The work can be of any medium but must have a link to our exhibition theme in some form.

Anyone can exhibit whether you are male or female the only requirement is that the artistic work represents our theme.

Whether you decide to exhibit or not The Gate would also like to invite you to our opening evening on 14 August. Find out more.

We will be celebrating the artists work in our very own Café Bar serving our locally sourced beverages, and we will also be enjoying some poetry and live music that again will be celebrating the 21st Century woman. We will also be taking donations for WEN Wales, a Welsh Women's charity.

To submit work please email tess.seymour@thegate.org.uk expressing your interest and some examples of the work you would like to exhibit. The deadline for submissions is 18 July at midnight.
