Roath Lock studios currently houses Casualty, Pobol y Cwm and Doctor Who.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced script editor to join the Scripting Team on one of the BBC’s flagship continuing Drama Series, Casualty.

You will ensure that commissioned scripts are of the required standard, conform to the editorial brief and are available for use at the appropriate time. Along with this you will advise on all script related matters associated with the production, and manage the relationship between the writer and the production whilst generating creative ideas and story ideas of the highest standard consistent with Casualty.

You will have significant experience in script editing drama with knowledge of and access to new and established writers along with a thorough knowledge of copyright law, Writers Guild agreements, contracts and the legal implications of the production process. You will also have an awareness of the financial consequences of editorial decisions with an enthusiasm and interest in popular entertainment, especially Casualty.
