An exceptional opportunity has arisen within the digital area of Admiral’s Acquisition team. We are looking for a driven individual to join our expanding team who has solid experience in digital marketing and is ready to take the next step in their career.

We’re looking for someone with experience in the mechanics of PPC, who is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all things digital. You should enjoy working as part of a team in a fast moving environment, but also have the capability of independent and proactive work. Strong numeracy skills and an analytical mindset are essential. You should be keen to demonstrate your strategic thinking and be someone who brings new ideas to the table.

This role would particularly suit someone looking for line management experience and who is driven by improving the personal development of others in addition to finding new ways to achieve our targets.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Exceptional knowledge and experience with PPC
  • An understanding of how to utilise PPC as a medium to cost effectively contribute to the business objectives
  • Experience using bid-management platforms
  • Experience of demographic targeting
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable handling and reporting on huge data sets
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and presenting data
  • An exceptional eye for detail
  • A thorough understanding of FCA regulations within the finance industry
  • An ability to own and balance multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
  • A passion for PPC and an interest in all things performance marketing
  • Great time-management skills and can prioritise tasks without support
  • Enough knowledge in PPC to be able to make relevant and effective keyword bid changes and ad copy recommendations
  • Ability to show initiative and be incredibly proactive
  • Some line management experience preferable or able to demonstrate relevant skills in this area
  • An understanding of Facebook advertising
  • Ability to strategise and enjoys problem solving
  • Enjoys working as part of a team in a fast moving environment. Can work autonomously whilst assisting the work of others and upwardly communicating

Some things that you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the Search Manager in all tasks as required
  • Training, coaching and developing team members in line with Admiral.com best practices
  • Building and implementing new PPC campaigns and accounts, according to briefs
  • Restructuring existing accounts to be more in line with best practice
  • Reporting on ad copy and landing page A/B testing
  • Working closely with product owners to support their business targets, in line with our team priorities
  • Forecasting PPC spend and budgeting
  • Reporting and monitoring PPC campaign results and spend against our budget expectations and targets
  • Monitoring competitor activity and discovering new opportunities
  • Making recommendations to improve performance and drive further efficiencies
  • Identifying any deviations in performance
  • Line managing at least one additional team member – taking responsibility for their training and personal development
  • Liaising with compliance to ensure our ad copy adheres to FCA regulations
  • Ensuring that our technology is functioning correctly and raise, or fix, any issues
