Welsh National Opera shares the power of live opera with audiences and communities across Wales and England – in theatres, in neighbourhoods and online.

The marketing department works to reach new audiences for our work as well as keeping our existing audiences engaged. We do this through our website and other digital communications, social media, advertising, direct marketing and much more.

We are seeking to appoint a Digital Content Officer to work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing and alongside the Digital Producer as required to plan, develop and create digital content that can be implemented across the Company’s website and digital platforms and marketing campaigns to engage new and existing audiences, and enhance our profile online.

You will ideally have a good all-round education with relevant marketing or digital qualification or experience and have strong verbal communication and copywriting skills and attention to detail. Experience of video production and image editing and a good understanding of digital platforms and effective ways to generate engagement are essential for this role. You will have the ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously and be able to thrive in a supportive but sometimes challenging environment. Experience of using Photoshop and / or InDesign and Final Cut Pro x / Apple iMovie and an interest and enthusiasm for opera/ classical music/the arts are desirable.
