An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual with excellent communication skills, within the RSPB Cymru's dynamic Public Affairs team. We are looking for someone to join our dedicated and ambitious team working to raise the profile of the RSPB's work; the largest nature conservation charity in Europe.

You will be self-motivated, and have experience of working in PR, especially press and media. You will help continue our profile-raising activity various channels, take media interview opportunities and write inspiring stories and copywriting to promote our work. 

You will be delivering stories in areas including conservation, fundraising, high profiled community projects such as Giving Nature a Home in Cardiff. 

A sound knowledge of the media in Wales is required. You will contribute to the content for RSPB Cymru's digital communication platforms, including Twitter and Facebook, community blog pages and our bilingual website. 

As part the RSPB's Bilingual Policy, you will work with external translators and ensure that the brand values and consistency are reflected in both Welsh and English communications. Welsh and English speaking and written skills are essential.
