The Food Foundation, together with Food Cardiff, Nourish Scotland and WWF are pleased to announce that our #PeasPlease advertising competition has been launched across the UK - and we're keen to get some Welsh entries in!

This competition has been launched in association with The Drum, a global media platform and the biggest marketing website in Europe.

We are calling on creative agencies, advertising and design students to submit creative poster ideas which could be turned into a range of marketing materials aimed at getting children to eat their greens.

Legendary advertising creative and Bartle Bogle Hegarty co-founder Sir John Hegarty will be shortlisting the posters in mid-October before being joined by children and communications agency LONDON Advertising at the Veg summits on October 24 to decide the winner. Kids panels in Wales and Scotland will join a kids panel in London by skype and provide their input before the final winner is announced by Sir John.

In addition to the winner being chosen by the one of the world's most awarded and respected ad men and featuring in an edition of The Drum, we will be offering them the opportunity display their posters in locations around the country in conjunction with retailer, out of home and city veg pledges.
